Strawberry🍓When I was a child our family farm provided almost all of the food we needed for the year, my favorite season was spring when the flowers bloomed and the strawberries ripened. My parents had a retaining wall with rings of strawberries that spanned the bottom of our garden (approximately 100 feet), we would pick early in the morning to beat the birds to the bounty. One of my older brothers would sneak out and eat his fill before the morning harvest, my mom was always baffled as to why all of the nearly ripe strawberries would suddenly disappear! These earrings brought me great joy as I beaded them! They are made using a double drop brick stitch, usually 11/0 Myuki Delica seed beads, on 925 sterling silver hooks.
